Last week we had the opportunity to speak with the co-founder of Fluz (“Floos”) and they let us know about some of the exciting enhancements coming soon to the app. Some of the announcements we’re able to share publicly and some we’ll have to let you know about later on.
If you’re not familiar with Fluz, check out our complete guide by clicking here. Additionally, we update the current rates for every retailer offered on Fluz hourly in the guide, along with boosted cashback rates and available voucher rates.
- Merchant Coding: The Achilles heel of Fluz since it launched has been the lack of appropriate merchant coding (i.e. Domino’s doesn’t code as restaurants, Kroger doesn’t code as grocery, etc.). That said, things have begun to change with ‘office supplies’ coding luanching earlier this year and additional categories coming soon. Categories that you can expect to see in the near future include:
- Grocery (in the next two weeks)
Unfortunately, Travel will not be a category launched on Fluz in the near-term due to logistical reasons.
- Chrome Extension: To make your life easier when saving money, Fluz is in private beta of a chrome extension. We are taking part in the private beta and will have more details to share down the road.
